| Jiangsu Sunshine group is the largest worsted wool textile enterprise in China and the production base of high yarn counts and light-weighted fabrics. Now she has formed the scale of developing 7--10 new products every day. The main products include 20 categories, over 6,000 qualities: such as Doeskin (Venetian), Beige, Gabardine, Fancy suiting, Tweed, Natural Stretch, Cheviot, Dress worsted, Nap fabric, Mohair, Water-soluble Fiber, Lycra, Tencel, Wool/Linen with health protection function, Ecological Soybean Protein Fiber, New compound fiber, Mercerized and anti-shrinkage, cashmere series. She also has 50 provincial high & new technological products, 10 National key new products, 3 products listed in the "National Torch Projects". The "New style worsted fabrics" "washable & self-smoothing worsted fabrics" are also listed in the "National Technical Innovation Projects."
Among those items, the 150s' "Chinese Top-grade Worsted Fabric" represents the highest level in China Wool Textile Industry, and was highly praised by General Secretary Jiang Zemin, Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress Li Peng and other leaders.
The "New style worsted fabrics" are finished by Italian advanced technology, can completely substitute for the imported fabrics after they were shown in the People's Great Hall and made a great stir in 1999.
In the 2000's Achievement Show, which was hold at the People's Great Hall, Jiangsu Sunshine Group recommended 14 kinds of qualities, which aimed at Italian Zegna technology. Through appraising, the specialists from the Wool Textile Association of China draw a conclusion that now the technique targets of 9 kinds of fabrics among them had exceeded the same products of Italy. Now Sunshine has formed the ability of mass production of above products.
"Sunshine" worsted fabrics meet the requirements of various markets. The yarn counts range is from 64s' to 150s'; and the raw materials include pure wool, blended, contexture. Sunshine worsted fabrics accord with the needs of the persons from different industries and statues. The senior high yarn -count (above 80s') fabrics possess over 75% of the market.
